Main Purpose of the Job
To take full responsibility, maintain manage and control, for the financial health of the organization by overseeing all financial aspects for all companies within the group and providing EXCO with accurate and relevant information

Tasks Associated with the Role
Internal Processes
• Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning
• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
• Analyze everyday financial activities and monitor captured data
• Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures
• Financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis and reviewing operational performance
• Fixed asset management
• Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
• Inventory Management
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Manage project contingencies
• Manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

• Qualified accountant (B. Comm) degree) or relevant experience in Finance, Accounting or Economics

5 years experience in:
• Accounting, Project Billing Process and Cost Control experience in both time-based reimbursable and fixed price projects environment
• Asset and inventory management
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Accounts payable and receivable management
• Budget preparation and reporting
• Financial management, planning and forecasting
• Evaluation, disclosure and management of economic activity and is crucial to the successful operation of firms and markets
• Experience in an Engineering and/or Project Environment
• Financial Audits and internal auditing
• Highly numerate analysis of statistical information and interpretation of financial data to produce reports which can be understood by non-financial colleagues
• General Ledger and Journal entries
• Generation and maintenance of budgets
• Interaction with a team of technical people across several disciplines
• Inter-company invoicing and loan accounts
• Managing a up and down hierarchy
• Multi-currency accounting and Forex control
• Statutory returns and compliance
• Payroll management
• Vendor and client contracting and agreements
