Geotechnical Engineer

Our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy with projects throughout Canada, is seeking Geotechnical Engineers to join their offices in Saskatchewan, specifically Regina and Saskatoon. With this position, our client is looking for a candidate that has previous experience with multi-disciplinary projects in civil and infrastructure industries.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, as well as geotechnical design and construction. They will be involved with geotechnical analyses focusing on soil-structure interaction, soil mechanics, foundation design, etc. Further to this, they will be working in a multidisciplinary team environment and involved in client relationship management, business development, and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering
- Having a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering is considered an asset
- Must have 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity
- P.Eng designation is a must or the ability to obtain one
- Must have experience with numerical modeling, finite element analysis, and design
- Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
