HSE Programs Advisor

Our client, a leading EPCM with projects worldwide, is seeking a passionate Programs HSE Advisor to join their team in Kitimat, BC.

You will be working with a growing EPCM with projects worldwide and joining a talented group of professionals all working towards one goal. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train subordinates to his/her area on HSE activities
- Supervise the implementation of HSE programs, including project site-based HSE orientation, recognition and awards programs, to all levels of project staff to promote a balance between productivity and the safety of project staff and visitors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in preparation of certification/classification programs
- Provide regulatory requirements and participate in monitoring and controlling HSE standards
- Plan, conduct and document work requiring independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Promote, foster and adhere to Company HSE standards

Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive safety experience within a construction environment;
- Relevant education and/or safety designations;
- Experience on multiple megaprojects is a strong asset;
- Experience working for the prime-contractor on these megaprojects is also a plus;
