Human Resource Manager

Purpose

- Formulate HR strategy of the plant in line with business plans

- Attract, recruit, develop, engage, and retain staff and workmen in line with business requirements

- Establish and maintain a cordial and constructive relationship in the workforce

- Establish and maintain and good relationship with government agencies and the local community

- Ensure statutory compliance and 401k management

Role description

- Developing roadmap for HR suiting local requirements while aligning to broad corporate policies

- Evolving the organization structure and manpower requirements of both staff and workmen in consultation with COO / CFO /Corporate teams

- Improving overall workforce productivity of both direct and indirect employees

- Recruiting and deploying required manpower in line with the manpower plan

- Establishing a training center and evolving training plans to meet business requirements

- Developing competencies of staff and workmen in line with the business requirement

- Establishing a data driven performance management system

- Engaging employees through open communication channels, timely delivery of different benefits and amenities, organizing company events and regular contact programs

- Encouraging participation in TEI (Total Employee Involvement) activities like suggestion schemes, quality circles and cross functional teams (SITs and CFTs) in line with the TQM way of working

- Maintaining a cordial relationship with the workforce for smooth running of the plant

- Effectively coordinating with various governmental agencies

- Establishing relationships with the local community and community organizations

- Developing and implementing safety training and safety audit cycle

- Ensuring legal and statutory compliances as per statute

Managing Points

- Manpower availability vis a vis manpower plan

- Employee productivity

- Employee cost to sales

- Employee retention - Attrition

- Employees competency levels

- Periodic assessment of employee performance

- Employee Engagement Score

- Total Employee Involvement (TEI) participation

- Zero Major accidents

- Man-hours lost due to accidents

- Non-conformance - Internal/External

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

- Minimum Post Graduate/MBA in HR/IR

- Minimum 10 years relevant experience of (manufacturing / auto components industry preferred)
