TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Technician to work for one of the leading engineering and construction consulting firms globally. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow their leadership skills in human resources and administration. This role is based in client's Downtown Vancouver location, close to a sky train station.

Job Description
The purpose of the Human Resources Technician position is to perform a range of administrative services and work in collaboration with members of the HR team under the direction of the HR Manager.

This is a 6 month temporary agency contract position.

• Maintain the digital employee files accurately and in a timely matter.
• Prepare routine reports, letters and other correspondence and documents.
• Point of contact for the HR department in answering and/or directing inquiries through phone, email, etc.
• Ensure clear communication and prompt resolution of queries.
• Assist in coordinating of HR information sessions, lunch and learns, and other HR events.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner.
• Plan and organize own work assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Requirements
• Customer service and Administrative experience (6 months - 1 year)
• Highly detailed oriented and organized
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high volume work environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• A quick learner
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work independently and pro-actively
• Experience using SAP database would be an asset
