Instrumentation Engineer

As a Project Instrumentation Engineer you are responsible for managing and completing a wide range of Instrumentation functions:

- Review and approve project specifications of DCS systems, ESD PLC systems, F&G PLC's and other package PLC's.
- Review and approve project specifications of PLC and DCS configurations.
- Review and approve project specifications of GC's and field analyzers.
- Experience with the interpretation of international instrumentation standards.
- Experience with standard maintenance practices in Petro-chemical industries.
- Review and approve project specifications of field instrumentation such as mass flow, vortex flow, ultrasonic flow and level, radar level, MOV's, control valves and in-situ analysers.
- Review and approve project specifications of gas detectors in process area and buildings.
- Review and approve project specifications of loop wiring diagram-, logic diagram- and pneumatic hook design.
- Assist instrument technicians during trouble shooting of field instruments.
- Fault finding in field panel wiring, DCS and PLC marshaling cabinets, JB's and field instruments.
- Review and approve project specifications of the instrument maintenance procedure and calibration procedures.
- Support instrument - and control engineers of Engineering Contractors.
- Support of Electrical and Instrumentation installation contractors.

We are looking for candidates with:
- a BSc degree in a relevant discipline and ample knowledge of/experience with PLC/DCS systems.
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience with the tasks described above
- FT availability
- Good command of Dutch and English (verbal and written)
- VCA Vol
