Jr. Buyer

Job Title: Jr. Buyer
Location: Somerville, MA 02143 (seeking local hires only)
Industry: Infrastructure, Rail
Status of Hire: contract, full time, hourly
Contract Duration: 6-8 months
Pay: $25/hr

Duties include but not limited to:
1) Review of invoice log and pushing invoices through the system through acting as liaison between Buyers, Receiving and AP.
2) Reconciling invoices against PO.
3) Expediting approvals and any other assistance to data collector’s who are reviewers of invoices
4) Adding change orders into SRM, Buyers will produce the change order but this position will feed info to Buyer.
5) Heavy coordination between Buyers and Receiving and AP in GVL.
6) Skills:
a. Invoicing experience
b. Ability to read general ledger or “PO” value, changes, payments report.
c. Computer skills, excel and word.
d. Able to scan documents
e. Able to store documents on network.
f. Strong organization skills
g. Self starter
h. Strong communication skills and ability to follow up
