The Opportunity

Our client, an industry leader in the Heavy Industrial Manufacturing sector is looking for a Labour Relations Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within the Manufacturing sector. This individual will have previous experience in consulting and defining on labour relations, employment law, performance and additional labour and people management issues.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in the industry, with a strong desire to join a profitable and stable organization with lots of opportunity for future growth and career advancement.


The ideal candidate will be proficient in all areas of a union environment; providing advice to all levels of management in collective agreements and bargaining, legislation, company policies etc. Your consultative and strong people skills will allow for ease in full cycle investigations from beginning to end along with coaching on matters related to performance management, conflict resolution and establishing a collaborative work environment.


• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar labour relations role.
• Bachelor's Degree with a preference to a labour relation focus, or related field.
• Previous experience in a union and/ or manufacturing environment.
