We are currently recruiting for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer. They have a requirement for a Lead Electrical Engineer to work on a permanent basis.
Location: Scotland
Salary: £negotiable + benefits
Duration: Permanent
The role:
You will be responsible for delivering all design development and construction engineering requirements within a multi £bn Electrical Systems package on major Offshore Wind Farm projects
Experience required:
- Extensive experience within an Offshore Wind Project Electrical Systems environment with strong understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of the project
- Able to manage the design and decision-making process for Large scale Offshore Wind Farm projects
- Able to manage the interfaces and technical risk between the key design disciplines of electrical, mechanical and geotechnical engineering.
- Experience in managing the verification and validation processes.
- Managing the design through to construction
- Understanding of logistics in developing and construction of large-scale projects.
- Able to organise team resources within an electrical package
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess an innovative mind set
Qualifications:
* Degree
* Chartered (prefered)
