Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance staff on a daily basis.
• Assess maintenance skills and develop maintenance staff.
• Deploy systems to ensure zero breakdowns and machine reliability to meet QCD requirements of the customer
• Work closely with Operations on a daily basis to understand the production planning and scheduling process and to identify and correct process capability issues.
• Assist Operations in quality improvements, cost reduction, and equipment utilization through statistical analysis.
• Implement and manage expense and capital projects.
• Facilitate and maintain OSHA compliance
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Maintenance
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in die casting
• CNC machining experience
• Experience in evaluating processes and implementation of process improvements
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
• Previous supervisory experience
• Experience in new plant start-up
• Minimum Bachelors’ degree preferred
• Lean or Six sigma experience
