In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will act as liaison between site work groups and health services. Their responsibilities will include planning and implementing mental wellness programs, developing network pathways for early help seekers, responding to issues and inquiries on site as related to the programs, conducting focus groups, and doing data analysis to identify areas of improvement.
Further to this, their job duties will include conducting promotion events for mental wellness programs, creating and distributing communication regarding the events and programs being delivered, as well as reviewing program participation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health or in a related discipline
- Must have previous experience with program development
- Must have experience with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) or equivalent training
- Previous experience in a construction or industrial setting is an asset
- Construction experience is considered an asset
