In this very exciting role, the qualified individual will develop operational procedures while the MOF is under construction and then transition to overseeing it’s operation. Some duties include developing the MOF Operations Manual, ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, and review all safe work plans for work at the MOF.
Job duties:
- Schedule, train, supervise and monitor the work of all direct craft involved in MOF operation.
- Coordinate with all vessels and ensure their work is performed safely
- Coordinate and oversee all work performed by outside contractors
- Schedule and allocate required work to contractors to meet priorities
- Coordinate with other site construction groups and manage any interface issues to support work as required
- Act as area authority for permitting requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mariime and Logistics field is preferred
- 10+ years of marine operations management experience
- Minimum of 5 years managing subcontractors
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory position
- Extensive experience with mooring activities
- Canadian boating license, CPS-ECP boating course
