Naval Architect Operations

You will be responsible for delivering the engineering output of the naval/structural work scope in line with the technical specification, budget and planning and include written input according to the asset specific, HSE&RC and company requirements. You will also work on (inter-disciplinary) checks and queries from site, clients, certifying authorities and vendors.
- Assist the lead engineer in obtaining client and third party approval.
- Establishes the fabrication and construction specifications.
- Act as technical advisor in construction/commissioning activities and during asset operations.
- Keep knowledge and procedures up to date.
- Check work of colleagues to improve the quality.
- Coach more junior Naval Architects.

We are looking for a (Senior) Naval Architect with broad experience in the offshore industry.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical/Structural Engineering
- 10 years of experience in naval architecture for the offshore and shipbuilding industry
- Good working knowledge for discipline calculations and document processing
- Good knowledge of relevant international design codes and standards
- Willing (and able) to travel and work offshore
- Excellent comand of English language (verbal and written)
- Willing to work in a multicultural production environment
- Already living and working in The Netherlands
