In this very exciting role, the qualified individual will manage a team of 20+ Administrative Assistants, confirm all labour law posters are posted on the project bulletin board, and educate all employees on personnel policies. Some duties include organizing a variety of projects in timely manner, plan work assignments for the administrative team, and maintain compliance with all applicable policies.This candidate will provide administrative, accounting, human resource and other support to the project for all departments and personnel.
Job duties:
- Manage the administrative functions of a project including office space, office services, minor filed accounting and general administrative support to senior project leadership and all project personnel
- Assist with project HR in coordinating the mobilization and demobilization of staff and contractors
- Assist with investigations as required and notify HR of complaints and recommendations to resolve complaints and potential complaints
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with the organization or project objectives and guidelines
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of previous administration experience in a leadership role on large scale industrial sites
- Accredited college or university diploma/degree is required
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audience
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-effective manner
