Operations Manager

Operations Manager required. Marshall is a 22-year Cat A service delivery contract with equipment replacement to provide terminal air traffic management (ATM) capability at MOD airfields in UK and overseas. Contract was placed with Aquila Air Traffic Management Services Ltd 28 Oct 14 (value £1.5Bn) with the responsibility for day to day ATM service. Marshall ensure the safe operation of aircraft at 65 MOD operated airfields and associated sites in the UK. Project Marshall is also delivering deployable Air Traffic Management capabilities.

The Operations Manager is responsible for:
1. Day to day management of the supplier, FLC and MOD sites in the delivery of ATM Temporary Technical Services.
2. Stakeholder management and effective communication
3. Risk and Issue management
4. Monitor the performance of the supplier in terms of quality, timeliness and reliability of services to ensure contractual obligations are met
5. Take appropriate interest in all aspects of inventory and supply chain management for their sites

The Ops Mgr post is one of the senior posts in the PT, so knowledge and experience of managing site operations, preferably in an Air environment would be beneficial, but not essential. Both posts would benefit from knowledge in Air Traffic Management, however this is not essential.
