TRS is seeking a Packaging Sales Engineering Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Greenville SC.
Facilitate processes and procedures to identify and manage customer requirements.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, finance and service to develop and implement order execution procedures to achieve customer and company goals.
Monitor order targets including schedule, profit and risk and provide guidance to Sales Engineers.
Provide sales engineering capacity relating to order execution (customer contact, design and project reviews, travel, customer visit coordination, margin tracking and customer satisfaction).
Formulate annual department objectives and assist the Vice President / General Manager to achieve the overall company goals.
Formulate annual performance and growth objectives for assigned personnel and appraise their performance. Administer company compensation procedures.
Facilitate new processes, tools, training and methodologies for department to ensure success within the department and across the company.
Financial management: Monitor order entry performance, order entry margin and other department KPI's. Recommend and implement to optimize performance.
Oversee and manage the department operating budget.
Serve with other department managers to facilitate relationships across departments in order to achieve the company goals and objectives.
A minimum of 10 years of experience with inside sales, or related sales experience preferred
Extensive experience of packaging equipment used in the pharmaceutical industry.
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science or related field of study.
