Job Description:
• Prepare piping layouts and conceptual design problems in 2D and 3D CAD
• Reviews drawings, and vendor equipment documentation, both within the discipline as well as from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks resolution
• Interface with other design disciplines
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD, Microstation,SP3D, Smartplant review capabilities, as required
• Should be able to work independently and handle an Area along with 4-5 designers/engineers.
• Check moderately complex piping design drawings.
• Conducts reviews of model using 3D Review platform and creates 3D models of complex plants.
• Applies project drawing standards to design drawings
• Provide guidance and mentorship to lower classification piping designers.
• Communicate, both verbally and in written form, in a professional manner
• Participate in general piping department training programs/seminars and on-line training
• Able to work in a team environment and demonstrate effective communication.
• Mandatory 3-7 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous and diligent
• Ensure to complete pipe component and run detailed drawings as necessary.
• Review project parameters related to piping requirements.
• Develop preliminary Bills of Materials with respect to piping design.
• Administer technically to outsource function as required.

Qualifications:
ITI/ Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or equivalent
