Piping Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, engineering, and construction of piping systems for a major pharmaceutical construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review piping system designs, including P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangements.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations, such as ASME, BPE, and local requirements.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., process, mechanical, instrumentation) to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and data sheets for piping materials, equipment, and components.
- Conduct piping stress analysis to evaluate system behavior under various operating conditions.
- Support the procurement and construction phases, including vendor selection, inspection, and quality control.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction personnel and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in piping engineering within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of piping design principles, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, Plant3D).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
