"TRS is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with extensive Reporting and Risk experience within the Oil & Gas Industry to join our well established international Client on the Mozambique LNG Project."

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Fulfils a critical role in the planning and execution of reporting and risk work activities or projects and helps to ensure that project schedules are met and that work activities are planned in a cost-effective and efficient way.
• They may work as part of a specific project team.
• Develops activity plans for projects or operations and monitors plans on an on-going basis to ensure activity schedules/project plans are being adhered to.
• Collects data necessary to compile long and short term activity plans.
• Produces plans using specialist planning software/systems.
• Identifies/highlights planning clashes or interfaces and works with the team to resolve issues.
• Ensures plans are updated/issued on a regular basis.
• Analyses and summarizes activities and produces reports on progress.
• Attends planning, engineering and operations meetings.
• Reviews outstanding jobs/work scopes.
• Liaises with engineering/operations personnel to ensure availability of materials and vendors to meet plan dates.
• May be required to visit offshore occasionally to complete planning reviews.
• Reports any breaches of safety procedures to supervision / management.
• Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Degree in Engineering, a must with a certification like PMP – Project Management Professional, PSP-Project Management Professional, PMI-SP, or Masters in Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 6-8 years proven work related experience in related field of work within the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Fully conversant with planning software Primavera P6 and MS Project, MS Office package specifically in MS Excels
• Able to prepare and update quality schedules Able to prepare weekly look ahead and recovery schedule as required
• Able to prepare workforce histogram with crafts required for the full span of work
• Able to prepare progress measurement and reporting templates and implement the same for the reporting
• Ability to extract “S” Curve planned and updated from schedules as required
• Ability to work efficiently on multiple work packs.
