We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO/Project Controls & Compliance Manager with a Rail/regulated industry background to join our client's team of experienced professionals. Based in Stratford, London you will be working on major rail construction, expansion and upgrade projects. This is a permanent position with a salary of £50-60,000 + excellent benefits including free travel and final salary pension. The role will suit a dynamic self-starter with team management experience and at least 5 years in a similar role in the rail industry.

Key Accountabilities/responsibilities:

• Devising, implementing and reviewing processes.

• Experience of managing governance in a busy project environment.

• Ensure applications of all Asset Management Project Delivery Processes are met and that all programmes/projects are managed in compliance with them.

• Ownership and maintenance of the High Level Programme

• To develop and apply objective robust project control and compliance management for projects and facilities of the estate within agreed guidelines to ensure programme governance is followed and fully met.

• To assist with development of appropriate strategies and plans for the Asset Management programme, whilst ensuring that stakeholders and customer service standards are maintained.

• Enforce project governance on behalf of the Head of Development and Planning, and work with project teams to ensure that they understand the requirements of the Asset Management project governance processes.

• Liaise with the Programme Management Office in the development and use of appropriate project controls processes

• Ensure project change, risks and contingency within the project life cycle are recorded and reported.

• Ensure records of all project documentation (including assurance, contract and meeting minutes) are properly maintained and controlled.

• Help project teams to set up and use the Workfront project management and QPulse document management systems.

• Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines with capability to recover after setbacks and changes to plan

• Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge
