Port Facilities Security Officer

TRS is now accepting applications for potential openings (future consideration) for a Port Facilities Security Officer with our client, a major EPCM with projects worldwide.
Job duties:
- Overseeing Maritime Security procedures in marine areas
- Supervising contracted security in the MARSEC area
- Dealing with customs issues from visiting vessels
- Implementing the MARSEC training packages and ensuring all workers assigned are appropriately badged
- Potentially executing quarantine and search upon arriving vessels
- Dealing with Immigration issues from visiting vessels
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of Transport Canada’s marine security programs
- 5 previous years of work experience in similar role
- 5 – 10 years of police or security experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of security principles
- Strong investigative background
