"TRS is urgently looking for expert level Port Managers (Terminal) with extensive Port Management / Terminal Management experience within Oil and Gas industry and willing to join our International Client's abroad project team."

NON-NEGOTIABLES FOR THIS ROLE AT EXPERT LEVEL:
• Port Managerial experience.
• Managerial experience of Terminals
• PMP / IPMA or IRPC certificates.
• Saipem experience great advantage.
• Responsible for the overall operation of a terminal, including administrative duties, and managing marine operations.
• Handling the inventory control, terminal budgeting, management of the personnel, and scheduling and staffing, among other duties.
• Being in charge for the various aspects of the terminal operations, and have strong knowledge of the issues pertaining to their facility.
• Meeting relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as promoting and encouraging safety.
• Oversee the hiring, training, and development of their workforce (including the managers, technicians, and the factory support staff needed to ensure a safe and secure working environment). Relevant to individual staff members or the team as a whole.
• Manage a facility within budget, execute a maintenance program, stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Port terminal manager is responsible for the overall operator of a terminal, including administrative duties, and managing marine operations.
• Handling the inventory control, terminal budgeting, management of the personnel, and scheduling and staffing, among other duties.
• Should also be expected to be in charge for the various aspects of the terminal operations, and should have strong knowledge of the issues pertaining to their facility; he or she must also be able to communicate and execute solutions in a very effective manner.
• He or she must also ensure that relevant local, state, and federal regulations are met, as well as promote and encourage safety.
• He or she must provide excellent customer service, as well as oversee the hiring, training, and development of their workforce (including the managers, technicians, and the factory support staff needed to ensure a safe and secure working environment).
• Additionally a terminal manager must be able to manage a facility within budget, execute a maintenance program, stakeholders, keep their area of work professional and clean, and clearly communicate issues relevant to individual staff members or the team as a whole.
• Port manager should have experience in scheduling work, organization operation.

TERTIARY QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited education or equivalent technical qualification in related field of experience.
• IRPC (Industry Recognized Port Certificate) Fundamentals (would be advantage but not mandatory).
