Project Engineer

TRS Staffing is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a Direct-Hire position in Anderson, SC.

This position offers significant opportunity for growth within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility!

Responsibilities Include:
• Work with design team in the preparation of detailed design drawings and documentation in line with specification requirements for switchgear.
• Commercial control of key projects including budgets, variations/change orders and pay applications
• Liaison with key customers, subcontractors and suppliers, including site surveys and meetings
• Generation of project bill of materials
• Liaison with production scheduler to ensure timely manufacture of project deliverables
• Demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving and above-average attention to detail
• An adaptability to respond to a fast-moving business environment
• Other related duties as required by Engineering management

Requirements Include:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
• 3+ Years of experience in a comparable role involving exposure to design engineering and managing multiple ongoing projects
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Access, Excel, Outlook, Word
• Project management skills / Budget / Costings

Due to the nature of the work and the product created, this position may require someone to list up to 50lbs, carry objects over a distance, bend, twist, squat, climb ladders, stand for extended periods of time, use tools requiring manual dexterity, and operate powered industrial equipment.
