Salary: $75-85k
Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Mon-Fri, Overtime as needed
Type of position: x Full-time, Direct Hire
General Description:
• Managing an automotive plastic product development project including: costs, timing, and technical implementation
• Be a member of the customer team and interact at high levels with automotive OEMs nationally
• Coordinate Change Management and work with all departments to meet project timelines: tooling, maintenance, production, planning, purchasing, supply chain functions, etc.
• Support continuous improvement and continuous cost reduction
• Coordinating with the production team
• Business travel as needed
Work Experience Requirements:
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills. Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability. Great attention to detail. Good communication and negotiation skills. Understanding of budget control. The ability to work well with others and lead a team. Ability to grasp and learn technical aspects relevant to the project.
5 years + recent work experience in equivalent automotive plastics project management position is a MUST
Injection molding experience A MUST
Specific Customer (automotive OEMs) experience is a plus, but not required
Excellent English language skills, fluency in German or Spanish a plus
No engineering degree required, but Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering preferred
