TRS Staffing is seeking a Project Quality Advisor for a long-term contract role with a global EPC.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Advises and informs Projects Quality Lead with issues, status and metrics.
- Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the Projects Team, as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan, where applicable.
- Develop Surveillance plans and Quality Plans as per Project requirements
- Conduct ENL audits on Company processes and systems for 5YEA Projects
- Participate in audits conducted by Company on an as needed basis
- Perform periodic Assessments of the Contractor's activities in order to evaluate and monitor implementation of Contractor’s quality management systems and 5YEA PEP.
- Continually review Company processes for a “fit to suit” on SPO projects and identify any possibilities for streamlining
- Experience with QMS and Dashboard is preferred
- Provide support on Quality items for Engineering, Procurement and SQS
- Review of RFQ and P.O packages to ensure effective identification of deliverables, Quality requirements and nominated manufacturers
- Attend any required Kick off meetings and Pre-Inspection Meetings where Criticality Rating of equipment / material has identified such requirement.
- Engaged as Primary Reviewer / Optional Reviewer (Squad Check) within POL for Quality Supplier documentation.
- Prepare for any required Site visits (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) and Vendor / Manufacture facilities
- Witness any critical testing activity as stipulated in Suppliers ITPs.
- Continually assess the performance of SQS inspectors and their reporting for SQS activities.
- Provide reports to Quality Lead and Project Team where required.
- Follow up and assist in expediting and implementation of dispositions for closure of associated NCR’s / CAR’s and Audit Findings.
- Attend any Project / Progress Meetings as identified and requested
- Ensure previous lessons learned are reviewed and that new lessons learned are identified and logged for future Project awareness.
- Actively ensure ENL’s Quality objectives are understood and implemented through out the organization.
- Promote the one team approach with EPCm Contractor and assist proactively in achieving compliance.
Assignment Location: Primarily based in Houston which may also require limited overseas visits for manufacturing facilities
