Project Site IQC and Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for project site module incoming quality processes at the project sites
• Become fully familiar with Module Documentation regarding modules (to be provided at time of hire)
• Communicate with key project members in a timely manner for issues discovered during receiving of product at the site
• Record required solar data and upload to file server daily
• Observe subcontractors and contractors in real time as shipments arrive at the site
• Report damage to container or container seal damage the same day to company personnel and other designated 3rd parties
• Confirm contractor and subcontractor are conducting module inspections at time of arrival at project and as material is offloaded from delivery vehicles
• Match quantities of pallets delivered with BOL and/or purchase order, note discrepancies or defects on BOL or purchase order for record documentation
• Report weekly metrics and results in Excel forms as directed by Projects team manager
• Record any deviations observed from standard receiving processes (picture and written)
• Conduct weekly EPC (and their subcontractor) incoming material observation and inspection documentation review for defects (e.g. damaged material at arrival, lack of BOL or packing slips, completeness of IQC forms)
• Produce weekly summary report of EPC (and their subcontractor) incoming material inspection documentation (bundles/quantities received, defect quantity, BOL/packing slip, EPC IQC documentation review for completeness and accuracy) weekly in provided format
• Quarantine log for isolation and tracking of defects recorded during EPC contractor (and their subcontractors)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills
• Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to conduct detailed procedures and inspections in a time constrained environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• MS Office

Experience
• Must have quality control and logistics background, especially at project sites
• Renewable energy – solar project site experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with managing palletized, packaged, or bulk item product receiving
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, web use for uploading
