The position reports to the Project Quality Manager and provides inspection services to support the site preparation, civils and structural Steel erection scope on a pharmaceutical build project.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
Review the project technical requirements with regards to site prep, foundations and buried services (drains) along with all associated applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
Monitor/inspect project and construction execution by regular surveillance and/or inspection as directed by the Quality Manager. Issue surveillance or inspection reports to appropriate parties and follow up until closure as required.
Direct and monitor the application of Quality manpower to ensure that Quality inspection and testing commitments are met on this pharmaceutical build.
Participate, when requested by the Project Quality Manager or supervisor, with the identification of nonconforming conditions and document them on non-conformance reports.
Support coordination with Construction Engineering to initiate timely analysis and resolution of identified discrepancies.
Skills Required
10+ years in a Civils Quality Engineering role
Pharma or Biogen or clean room construction background
Demonstration of a strong EPC project history
Good interpersonal and communication skills (Oral and written communication skills)
