We are recruiting for a major Developer in the Offshore Wind industry. They are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to work with their specialist technical teams in their European Wind operations.
This is a permanent staff position. Based in Coventry with some European travel.

Manage the Quality Package for European Wind projects in late development through to construction and to handover the operations with the support of the wider quality department.
Liaise with the technical specialist teams, operations and construction to identify appropriate the Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
Develop risk based project quality plans that cover all stages of the project life cycle and are integrated into the project management organization and schedule.
Record, monitor and control non-conformance in accordance with the client's processes.
Manage investigations and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
Liaise with internal technical departments to evaluate the risks associated with non-conformance findings.
Maintain all project quality documentation in line with client's requirements.
Support supplier evaluation and carryout supplier audits.
Manage the site based quality control activities.
Undertake First Article Inspections at supplier facilities.
Produce monthly quality reports for each project.
Support the development of a fit for purpose Quality Management Framework
Promote a quality culture in the client team.
Provide input into the project risk register.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Management Framework.
Relevant university degree engineering.
Extensive experience of FMEA, Root Cause Analysis and other similar tools.
Proven track record operating within a project structure.
Qualifications and working experience of ISO:9000.
Experience of managing quality activities in a construction environment.
Good understanding of Wind turbine assets, Civil works and Electrical Infrastructure.
Strong IT skills.
Willingness to undertake national and international travel.
Experience managing a budget for quality QA/QC activities.
Able to work in virtual teams across operational and country boundaries and with a high degree of independence.
Fluent in English and German is an advantage.
