Construction QA/QC

The Engineer will assign one Quality Manager will perform the coordination, supervision, documentation review and approval of Contractor’s Construction QA/QC process, including but not limited to:

 Planning, supervising, coordinating, monitoring and reporting of the site QC activities.
 Review and approval of all Construction QA/QC procedures and templates before the commencement of the respective construction activities, in accordance to the Project Documents, state of the art and good engineering practices. Including but not limited to:

- Field Quality Plans.
- Installation Checklists
- Installation manuals
- Method of Statement

 Ensuring QC activities performed by contractors, third parties and any other party involved are completed, and duly endorsed and reported.
 Maintaining an up to date Inspection activities database to ensure that all requested Inspections are documented, implemented and tracked.
 Monitoring, reviewing and approving mechanical completion packages and hand-over documentation.
 Coordinating and controlling discipline inspectors activities.
 Participating to site meetings when invited by the Project Manager.
 Processing requests for inspections originated by the contractor or suppliers as referenced in specific inspection test plans.
 Acting as the “first point of contact” to inspectors on assignment, where clarification and QC support is required.
 Review and approval of all Construction QC inspection results. Checking all inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
 Monitoring resolution of Non Conformances, suppliers concession requests and technical queries.
 Issuance of the respective Mechanical Completion certificates.
 Submission of brief monthly report to the Owner detailing progress and areas of concern until completion.
 Review of Contractor’s Monthly Quality Report.
 Document controlling, including the sharing of comments through the Document Management System, elaboration of transmittals, organization of the project internal folder (if different to the DMS), etc.
 Coordination, review and approval of Final Quality Dossier.

· Site manager : 14 meses
· Landfill site manager (Construction Manager): 14 meses
· Quality Manager / QC engineer: 11 / 8 meses respectivamente
· Commissioning Manager: 6 meses
