Our client, a leading construction firm with projects worldwide, is seeking a passionate Quality Manager to join their team in Darlington, Ont.

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a megaproject in Darlington, Ont. You will be working with a growing construction firm and joining a talented group of professionals all working towards one goal.

Responsibilities:
- Be aware of site safety requirements that affect all site personnel
- Oversees the activities of the project Site Quality Group charged with monitoring the Q.C. functions for construction activities, and monitoring the construction activities.
- Performs as a technical consultant on questions about quality requirements, plans, policy, procedures, works, and coordinates with construction and engineering to provide acceptable solutions to quality issues.
- Coordinate with Jurisdictional Authority personnel in determining applicable local government quality requirements and ensure compliance with all project related requirements. Liaise with Jurisdictional Authority inspectors and/or inspection agencies when required.
- Organize and direct the quality training program for all project personnel
- Implement and maintain the construction Site Quality Plan and the Site Quality Procedure documents to meet Prime Contract requirements, expectations of the client, local requirements and result in the production of contracted QA/QC documentation deliverables.
- Coordinated with project and client personnel to ensure full implementation of the project quality program
- Implement required quality administration activities such as quality records, nonconformance processing, overall project site audits and surveillance, and issuance of periodic quality reports
- Schedule, perform, and document periodic verifications, audits, assessments, surveys, surveillances, and independent inspection to verify overall program implementation and effectiveness, consistent with requirements specified in the Quality and Construction Plans.

Qualifications:
- Successfully managed multi-discipline quality functions and activities on projects, fully knowledgeable and experienced in the means, processes and methods needed to successfully construct the multi-discipline quality program for projects
- Responsible for the creation, implementation, and oversight of the corporate quality programs
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Typically has at least 15 years of progressive construction and technical experience
- Nuclear experience is a strong asset;
- CWB or API would be considered a bonus;
- Multi-discipline is important - well versed in multi trades;
- Mech/Electrical, strong QA, audits, and surveillance background;
