Description:

We currently seek a high caliber Quality Technician for a Contract-to-Hire position within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in North Grafton, MA this person in this roll will work night shift 6PM – 6AM (12 Hours) Monday – Thursday (48 Hours/week). The Quality Technician will complete production testing in support of customer delivery schedules.

Job Description:

• Optical and mechanical testing of standard and developmental product, documentation of test results, work procedures, and operation of ancillary testing equipment as required.
• Testing will be carried out on standard fiber optic industry equipment and well as internally developed test stands.
• Accurately document testing results.
• Work directly with the technical staff to analyze test data.
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of fiber test experience including documentation of test results and work procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Positive attitude, team oriented work ethic, ability to work independently with little supervision, and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work extended working hours if needed.
