Due to recently awarded projects, my client is currently seeking Commercial Managers/Quantity Surveyors X3 (Rail or Utilities) to join their London team on a on a permanent basis.

The ideal Quantity Surveyor can expect a very attractive salary of £40-60,000 + package such as excellent company allowances and bonus structures.

Responsibilities:
Calculate Cost of Work Done (COWD) as well as any agreed variations, along with estimated cost to complete.
Assist with the procurement and contract administration of suppliers and sub contracts.
Quantify changes (variations) and submit Change Request Forms.
Maintain subcontract procurement schedules
Ensure necessary main contract notices are issued on time
Input into financial reports including budgets / forecast for project management
Management of variations throughout the project life
Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and Contract Budget reports
Supervising and training of other commercial staff
Provide commercial advice to other team members

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Member of / actively working towards membership of appropriate professional body
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on large projects
Experience of NEC contract
In additional to general civil engineering background, rail or utilities experience would be desirable.
