My client is one of the leading consultancies to the Rail and Infrastructure sectors. Due to an increase in workload they seek Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Managers to based in Birmingham paying a salary of £40-65,000.

We have excellent opportunities working in Rail, Highways and Utilities projects.

As the Quantity Surveyor /Commercial Manager you will have knowledge of the following:
Pre and Post Tender
Produce applications for payment to clients, identifying all commercial risks
Challenging cost elements, monitor site activities and provide auditing as required.
Undertaking final account settlements and internal reconciliation
Encouraging the demonstration of efficiencies by undertaking cost analysis of completed projects.
You must also provide support with pre and post contract procurement activities and estimating resources, offering guidance and advice.

You must have experience of:
Commercially managing investment projects
NEC contract
RICS is preferred but not essential.

Proven Cost / Commercial Management experience, ideally from a Consultancy or client side background
NEC experience
Solid contract administration experience
Experience of working on Major Programmes and Projects
Experience in leading, managing and motivating teams
