Here is a great opportunity to join a growing firm based just north of Toronto who value work/balance and still feel like a family run organization.
In this mostly field based role, you will be reporting into the Regional Safety Manager, and will be responsible for providing leadership and support for our client’s HSE management systems. This includes coaching, consulting, incident investigation and injury management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and consultation for programs;
- Investigate processes;
- Management of injury claims;
- Assistance with providing training;
- Coordinate HSE documentation that is needed;
- Create a site or project specific safety plans when needed;
- Analyze safety conditions in the field;
- Document both compliance and non-compliance issues;
- Other duties as needed;
Qualifications:
- Relevant Health and Safety educational background;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- 5+ years of safety management experience;
- Professional designation preferred;
- Strong Railroad/construction experience;
- Injury management, auditing, and investigations experience;
- Bilingual in French and English is preferred;
- Ability to travel;
