Summary of position:
The primary function of this position is to develop business relationships and to sell service agreements for HVAC commercial products to new customers. This includes but is not limited to prospecting customers, qualifying potential opportunities, estimating the work and positioning the proposal in a way that provide the highest probability of success. This is an outside sales position with a tremendous opportunity for a true “hunter” who enjoys finding and winning new customers.
Requirements / Must haves:
Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
One to three years of B2B/commercial sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment.
Technical knowledge of HVAC systems
Ability to review mechanical systems and equipment along with interpreting schematics and drawings
Must have excellent communication skills and high levels of internal drive and self-motivation
Ability to close sales and to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales process.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment as part of a high-performance sales team.
Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of HVAC and Building Automation System service agreements by scheduling sales calls, following up of leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings.
Actively prospecting for new sales opportunities and pursuing leads generated from direct marketing initiatives and commercial maintenance referral programs.
Develop commercial maintenance agreement proposals by understanding the customer's needs. This will include site surveys of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance recommendations, cost/benefit analyses and program pricing.
Qualifies opportunities by primarily looking for owner occupied buildings or high service demanding building opportunities.

Responsible for setting meetings with new customers weekly.
