TRS Staffing is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base. Our client, a large Oil and Gas operator, is currently seeking a SCADA Analyst for a contract role bassed in Calgary, Alberta.
- Provide technical support and services to the business in all aspects of maintaining pipeline and equipment integrity, Scada and other areas that support that.
- Provide services to management such as analyzing the structure, operations, managerial methods or functions of an organization in order to propose, plan and implement improvements by forecasting, trending and conducting business analysis of business process and models.
- Provides support to the compliance activities of the EAR Field Scada team regarding NERC certifications.
- Conducts own analysis to help the business function more effectively through analytics, Develops and writes business process spec or can plan, analyze business practice providing expertise to senior management. Can be a project lead and is involved in matters that could have strategic importance.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare, consolidate, and analyze executive reports for E&AR managers and directors, including trending analysis for the SCADA & Mechanical Engineering organization unit assuming responsibility for overall accuracy, completeness and timeless.
- 5 years experience with Excel, EDMS and SCADA system experience.
- 5 years experience as a fully qualified SCADA analyst.
- Experience certifying/revoking access to SCADA applications.
- Experience supporting the modification, documentation and implementation of existing and/or new internal processes and process improvements.
- Technical School or University degree in relevant discipline.
