Senior Application manager / Analyst

TRS Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced application manager (SAP, SaaS) and business analyst for global company in Utrecht. Be part of a close-knit team working on continuous improvement.

Vacancy
The application management team works for the business in Europe with a large number of applications and systems, of which SAP is the largest, although more and more SaaS solutions are added. The company is always in motion, looking for continuous improvements, also for our IT and ERP landscape. Therefore the analyst in you will focus on SOx compliancy and IT process improvements.

You will be working in a small and close-knit team of application and functional managers on maintenance, renewal and improvement of ICT solutions. Your areas of focus are the operational and logistics modules of SAP (CS, PS, SD and MM) and a number of other (SaaS) applications to support the "Order to Cash" and "Purchase to Pay" processes. You will also be the point of contact and provide support to the internal and external auditors in SOx related issues and – as a joint effort - you assure SOx compliancy.

You will guide work planners, line and project managers in both system use and in identifying, specifying, realizing, testing and implementing improvements to the systems.
With your analytical attitude, you identify these improvements and you know how to present them in a substantiated and convincing way, after which you can start working on the resulting change requests and projects.
You will also be responsible for the documentation around rules, guidelines and best practices.

Specific Tasks and responsibilities as Application Manager:
• Together with external partners and fellow application Managers, you develop and manage the applications assigned to you and you guarantee availability, reliability and continuity;
• You contribute to the integration in the business processes and links with other applications and translate the needs of your business partners into new or improved solutions;
• You support and advise work planners, line and project managers and office engineers of the Business Lines in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium;
• You provide 1st & 2nd line support and also support training courses, workshops and key-user sessions;
• You realize and implement changes and new releases together with fellow Application Managers and key users.

Specific Requirements for Senior Application Manager:
• Bachelor/Master degree or Equivalent Qualification;
• at least 5 years of working experience as an application manager of application consultant;
• SAP knowledge is essential – you have configuration experience in one or more modules preferable Customer Services;
• Good (verbal and written) communicative skills in English and be able to express yourself Dutch;
• You are able to work from the HQ in Utrecht at least three days a week;
