Civil Engineer

Our client, a reputable engineering, surveying and mapping company with locations across Western Canada is currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join their team in Kitimat, BC. This is a full-time permanent position.

In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will have the chance to develop new business opportunities and establish relationships with key clients. Some duties include leading civil projects by engineering design through from the proposal stage to the commissioning of the work, providing design and production of engineering drawings, and assisting in the coordination of documents for approvals, construction estimation, and tender. This candidate will be responsible to provide mentorship and guidance when leading multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience using Civil 3D and/or other technical software
• Registration in good standing as a P.Eng, in BC
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with all government levels, construction contractors and developers
