Our client is at the heart of revitalising Britain's railway. Due to an increase in workload they seek a Senior Commercial Manager Rail to based in the South West or Birmingham

They are happy to look at staff or contract paying a ate of up to £450 per day or £70,000. This is a long-term role.

The role of the Commercial Manager is to provide post-contract management of medium value/medium risk activity and support pre-contract activity.

You will have knowledge of the following:
Manage cost reporting of all allocated projects including Cost Forecasting, Anticipated Final Cost, Cost of Work Done, Gross Billing and Current Contract Value.
Monitor, manage and report on all commercial aspects of allocated projects,
Review contractor delivery; including leading valuation of medium value/medium risk contracts
Manage assessment and valuation of contractor's applications and processing of payment certification i
Produce of applications for payment/invoices
Identify and advise on all commercial risk/claim events.
Undertake final account settlements and internal reconciliation to project close-out
Support pre and post contract procurement activities

You must have experience of:
Commercially managing investment projects
Railway and construction industry forms of contract
