Our client is one of the leading consultancies in the Aviation, Infrastructure and Utilities sectors. As a result of new awards we are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Manager to be based in the West Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity with great career progression. Salary is £80-85,000 + excellent benefits

You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:
• Applying Value Management technique
• Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan
• Managing the procurement process
• Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
• Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
• Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
• Value engineering and life cycle costing
• Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed
• Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Determining and evaluating compensation events
• Claims and Disputes.

You must have strong experience of:
• NEC3 Contract
•Rail/ Airport/Water/Utilities/Infrastructure experience.

Ideally you will have a relevant Degree and be RICS qualified
