We are currently seeking for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to work as a contractor for 6+months. Based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.

Job description:
Our client is looking for CSA Engineers with good knowledge of executing projects in an international environment.

The Senior CSA Desgin Supervisor/ Engineer will be responsible for Civil and Structural Engineering and Design services for a large variety of brown field, grass root and revamp facilities for petrochemical, oil, chemical, gas and industrial services. These services comprise of conceptual design, project specifications, basic engineering, extend basic engineering and detailed design and engineering for reimbursable and lump sum projects. In addition you will have regular contact with Client and/or Owner representatives, consultants, specialist, vendors and construction contractors for coordination, classification and guidance regarding CSA design, engineering and construction activities. Planning and organizing jobs and cooperate with third parties and project disciplines and construction site.

Requirements:

• BSC. Degree;
• +/- 10 years of engineering and design experience;
• Experience with FEED/Basic projects as well as detailed design project(EPC) execution;
• Experience with Eurocode design and Dutch national annexes;
• Experience with Scia Engineer calculation program;
• Experience with requirements of Dutch building authorities(BoWoTo) for drawings and calculations;
• Experience with Industrial projects;
• Revamp and grass roots experience;
• Revamp activities include structural assessment of existing piperacks for new extensions(additional pipe layer);
• Grass roots activities include structural calculation of compressor building, substation foundations and transformer yards.
