Senior Hydrogeologist

Our client, a global engineering consulting firm that provides specialized services to the mining industry, is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join their team in Vancouver, BC. With this position, our client is looking for a candidate that has experience working on multidisciplinary teams on a variety of mining projects.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with groundwater baseline studies, conducting impact assessments, as well as overseeing seepage analyses. Along with this, they will design dewatering systems for mining projects and provide expertise on mine water management and studies related to mine facility design.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology or related education
· P.Eng designation (or eligible for registration)
· 8+ years of experience working in hydrogeology on mining projects
· Project experiences in seepage analyses, groundwaters inflow estimation, dewatering systems design, numerical groundwater modelling studies, etc.
· Excellent communication skills
