We currently seek a Senior Planning Engineers X3 for a long term, overseas assignment. The assignment will be based in Kazakhstan working on a multi billion pound oil and gas Project. This opportunity is with a leading organisation within the Energy & Chemicals industries on one of the largest projects in the industry.
This is a contract role with overtime and transport and accommodation provided. Rotation is 4 and 4. Excellent Rates
The Senior P6 Planner will have a depth of experience in planning and scheduling FEED and EPCM Projects within the Oil & Gas sector, as well as demonstrable planning leadership skills.
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Senior P6 Planner will be responsible for planning/progress and performance functions as assigned by the Planning team
You will have knowledge of the following:
Establishing and managing Project P6 Planning sessions;
Set-up, implementation, maintenance and updating of Project Schedules;
Communicating the schedule in its various guises to Management and Clients;
Provide thorough routine analysis and written narratives on schedule variances;
Provide accurate & timely “what-if” schedule scenarios as required by Project Management (Material schedule variances, Productivity Impacts, etc.);
Lead the Project schedule risk analysis workshop;
Set-up, implementation and maintenance of the progress and performance system;
You must have experience of:
P6 Schedule risk analysis;
Demonstrable planning leadership skills;
Depth of experience in planning and scheduling FEED and EPCM Projects within the O&G sector;
The ideal candidate will have experience of working for major EPCs such as Bechtel, KBR, Worley Parsons, Fluor, Foster Wheeler etc.
