SHE Advisor

Site based SHE Advisor role based at an Onshore Wind Farm project on Shetland.

Ideally the candidate must be resident on the Island.

1 year contract position starting in March 2021.

This role will focus on supporting the Onshore Wind Farm project, ensuring that the project is delivered safely and efficiently.
The SHE Advisor is responsible for driving the implementation of the SHE management system and practices to ensure SHE standards and requirements are achieved throughout the Wind Farm construction project.

The position will sit within the Renewables Capital Projects SHE team, however, the site based SHE Advisor will report directly to the Wind Farm Project Manager on site related matters with line management reporting to the Renewables Capital Projects SHE Manager.

Candidate requirements:

- NEBOSH H&S quals
- HNC in engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience working on major construction projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Subcontractor management
