TRS Staffing is seeking a Sr. Economic Crime Auditor for a petrochemical client in Lake Charles, LA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide pro-active prevention and detection of economic crime services
- Assist in the development of:
- the integrated annual risk based assurance plan (IRBAAP), including EC Awareness initiatives; and
- skills of team members
- Assist in the execution of Economic Crime Risk Management (ECRM) reviews, including timely reporting of tasks and within budgeted hours.
- Act in the role of a subject matter expert
- Assist in the identification of economic crime risks and trends in the US/globally
- Ensure that the quality of tasks executed are aligned with client goals
- Integrate with other SAS departments with regard to knowledge sharing on tasks being managed and executed
- Keep abreast of local & global trends and developments in Economic Crime Risk
- Consult where required on economic crime risks
Experience/ Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field required
- 11+ years of industry relevant experience, relating to Forensics/Risk Management/Economic Risk Management or similar, of which, 4 years must be in the private sector
- CPA or CIA required
- Subject matter expert
- Internal auditing
- Computer literacy at a technical level to enable/ direct data analyses
- SAP knowledge
- Risk management
- Economic crime risk management
- Financial analysis and data analytics
- Identify and communicate significant risks not identified through the risk management process
- CFE qualification will be advantageous
- Membership in a professional body e.g. ACFE, AICPA, IIA, or similar
