Staff Accountant

TRS is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Greenville, SC!

Responsibilities Include:
• Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this position is responsible for various accounting duties, including assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, general ledger postings and month end closing
• Support multiple manufacturing sites, as assigned
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Apply customer payments and reconcile accordingly
• Assist with preparing departmental budgets, interfacing with Production Management
• Research and solve payment discrepancies
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Assist with month end close, preparing journal entries, and reconciling G/L accounts
• Assist with other projects and duties, as needed

Requirements Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university
• Prefer minimum 2 years related finance experience, internships included
• Strong knowledge of Excel required
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
• Experience with an ERP system strongly preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task
• Ability to function independently and willingness to contribute beyond the defined role
