Structural Checker

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Piping OR Structural Designer on behalf of a valued client. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled design professional to support complex electrical projects while providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality design deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

The day-to-day activities vary depending on the timing and complexity of the project; however, the typical expected responsibilities include:

• Software experience with CadWorx
• Assist with the layout and design of process equipment modules for oil and gas processing facilities.
• Develop piping designs, 3D models, and detailed piping layouts.
• Prepare structural steel skid, pipe support, fabrication, and structural drawings.
• Produce piping isometrics and other design deliverables required for fabrication and construction.
• Revise designs based on vendor information, engineering requirements, and stress analysis updates.
• Organize design documentation and coordinate project information with engineering and other disciplines.
• Assist with material take-offs, piping component calculations, and pre-order material requirements.
• Collaborate with piping checkers, mechanical engineers, and fabrication personnel to support project execution.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (EDDT), or an equivalent combination of training and experience in piping design.
