Superintendent - Instrumentation Engineering

TRS Middle East is currently recruiting for a Superintendent - Instrumentation Engineer to lead the Instrumentation Engineering department for a leading Refinery in the Middle East.

Job Purpose:
Manage and direct support services for Instruments, Control & Safety Systems for all downstream facilities/systems, Marketing Terminal and Gas Distribution Network (GDN) within the approved funds as per company requirements ,quality & safety standards, costs and recognized industry best practices.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 20 years' experience in project management, engineering design in refining, oil & gas production or petrochemical industries together with experience in construction, maintenance, repair or inspection and will have included at least five 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
Specialist experience must include a minimum of five (5) years in Instrumentation & Control Systems as related to the petroleum industry.
A broad knowledge of British and American design codes and of the corresponding Company standards and instructions.
Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead the project team. Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
