THE ROLE
- Reporting to the Shipping Agency Manager
- Ensure the effective handling of claims and protection and indemnity services
- Assisting shipping lines, charters and various P&I clubs who are represented by the agency
- Handle all incidents involving damage to or loss of vessels, containers, cargos and other marine assets
- Handle claims made against third parties
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree
- 10 years of experience in handling general marine and cargo surveys, claims and loss adjustments
- Knowledge of international maritime law
- Knowledge of shipping, customs and port operations
- Knowledge of P&I clubs
- Fluent English
- Being located in Qatar would be advantageous
