Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in beautiful Kitimat, British Columbia as a SWS 3rd Party Coordinator! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal.
In this role, the qualified candidate will be assisting in developing procedures and programs for providing technical support. Some duties include providing supervision to subordinates involved in all project support activities, establishing an effective communications system among project and home office functions to ensure an accurate timely flow of information, and coordinate facility soft services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring project priorities for safety, cost, quality and schedule are accurately conveyed to the Site Services Management Team
- Assists Manager with cost analysis for multiple invoices and budgets, as well as report generation and analysis for all SWS scopes
- Monitors subcontractors quality, safety and performance programs, verifies daily activity reporting and approves subcontractors invoicing for compliance with progress billing and reporting structures
- Advises the SWS Manager regarding developments that may affect personnel resources, service or equipment availability, interdepartmental procedural matters, and audits of system reporting and related subcontract requirements
- Coordinate with Waste Management Service Company to maintain timely removal of different streams of waste
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce or Planning, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, most notably Excel
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Effective problem solving and decision making skills
